Renaming imminent - First part | Sat Jan 17, 2009 12:08 pm by RukarioX | Yeah, I want to rename this to another name. Any ideas for the first half (.prowiiforum will change as well, that's my decision)? Yeah, we need more posters until the name is changed due to the fact that I want to make it into a domain name and we will be rid of the .prowiiforum part. Yeah, just give me ideas. thepokecommunity.forumotion.net will now be under decision for a new name.

| I also added a poll, this is some cool info.
DLC Royal Rumble - PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wi
The console war is fought everywhere these days, but the internet seems to be where people are most vocal. It also serves to give each console its own set of downloadable content, fuelling the war even more. Each week we'll give you a run-down of what's available to download on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and declare a winner.
Note: This round-up is based on UK releases to each console's online service and does not include premium video content. Releases outside of the UK could vary.
PlayStation 3 - PSN
As the gaming releases start to die down, it seems the PlayStation store is suffering too. There are no new full games or demos this week, with 2K Games' BioShock Challenge Rooms add-on being the only content of note. Thankfully that's pretty big as far as DLC goes, with three new levels to play that are exclusive to the PS3.
Other than that the content this week is pretty standard, with the usual selection of Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks, trailers and themes joined by a set of LocoRoco costumes for LittleBigPlanet (the fact that these guys are meant to be round blobs lets this down in our opinion) and upgrade bundles for Need for Speed: Undercover.

The launch of the New Xbox Experience has dominated Xbox LIVE this week, and with it came a fair amount of new content. With the NXE supporting fancy themes that include 3D models for your avatars to stand next to, the 250 MS Point themes certainly look better than the previous dashboard's, although they are more expensive. Also making use of the NXE is XBLA game Kingdom For Keflings, which lets you insert your avatar into the game. This alone might tempt a few of you, but thankfully Keflings is also a solid city builder.
Outside of NXE content there's a demo for Crash Time 2, which we're not all that impressed by to be honest. Add to this plenty of new tracks for Rock Band and Guitar Hero, numerous videos and gamer pics. Lips also gets its first batch of new tracks, with more planned over the coming weeks.

It's a bit of a bumper collection of games on WiiWare this week, with three of the four being worth a look. Cubello is the first in a trio of Art Style games that will be arriving on WiiWare over the coming weeks. This simple looking puzzler asks players to fire coloured blocks onto a spinning collection of blocks, removing any that are of the same colour. For only 600 Wii Points it's well worth it, being one of the best WiiWare titles to date.
Strong Bad fans can enjoy the third episode in the adventure game series, which is being released episodically through the WiiWare service. This time Strong Bad must organise a rock concert, signing enough bands in order to put on a good show. It's more of the same, but for fans it's more or less an essential purchase.
The third of the bunch worth taking a look at is CueSports - Snooker vs. Billiards, at 800 Wii Points. With snooker, 8-Ball and 9-Ball pool you're likely to find something to enjoy if you're a fan of cue sports. A puzzle mode that focuses on trick shots is also good fun, and you also get Wi-Fi connection support for online head to head play. Not so good is Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam. At 1000 Wii Points this waitering chef game doesn't represent great value and feels quite lightweight compared to the other three games on offer this week.
WiiWare Art Style: CUBELLO: 600 Wii Points Strong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands: 1000 Wii Points CueSports - Snooker vs. Billiards: 800 Wii Points Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam: 1000 Wii Points

| AND THE WINNER IS::::
Xbox LIVE There can only be one winner this week, with Xbox LIVE being the clear victor thanks to the release of the New Xbox Experience and an assortment of content to go along with it. Wii takes second thanks to three impressive WiiWare titles and PS3 comes in third, although not without a quality release in the shape of the BioShock Challenge Rooms.
